OUR HOMES

Live Well With Skilled Support—Every Day
Better Day Residential Care provides person-centered residential services for adults with intellectual, developmental, and mental health support needs through state-licensed group homes and Alternative Family Living (AFL) host homes. We deliver 24/7 assistance, medication support, life-skills training, and coordinated care—creating safe, stable environments where individuals can grow in independence and confidence.

Licensed Group Homes
Our licensed group homes offer small, family-style residences with round-the-clock staffing and a structured, supportive atmosphere. Residents typically enjoy private or semi-private bedrooms, shared living spaces, and daily routines tailored to individual goals.
Services include supervision and safety monitoring, medication administration, personal care support, transportation, community participation, and skill-building in areas such as cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, and social communication. We also provide behavior supports and care coordination in collaboration with families and clinical partners. This setting is ideal for individuals who benefit from continuous support in a predictable, nurturing environment.

Alternative Family Living (AFL)
Alternative Family Living—also known as the host-home model—pairs individuals with carefully screened and trained caregivers who provide support within their own homes. AFL offers a warm, natural household setting with highly individualized attention, often in one-to-one or small-ratio arrangements.
Support services may include personal care, medication assistance, coordination of medical and therapy appointments, transportation, community involvement, and daily living skill development, all guided by a person-centered plan. With ongoing oversight, training, and monitoring from Better Day Residential Care, families and participants can feel confident in the quality and safety of services. AFL is an excellent option for those who value a family-based environment, consistent relationships, and flexible, individualized routines.
