Better Day Residential Care is licensed by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation as a supervised living facility for adults with developmental disabilities, license category 5600C. We serve three adults age eighteen and older who have an intellectual and/or developmental disability and need twenty-four hour support.

Every person who lives here has a person-centered plan built with them, not for them. Staff are trained before they ever work alone with a client, in client rights, confidentiality, supporting adults with I/DD, de-escalation, medication administration, CPR, and first aid. We are a small home by design — three people, not thirty — because support that fits a person cannot be delivered at scale.
